Mississippi Marauders
James Hayes
The 1999 CFFFL Championship was claimed by the Mississippi
Marauders. Owner James Hayes, an inaugural owner, left his original team
in the Pacific division for a few weeks after the 1997 season. His team
was claimed by a new owner by the time he decided he did not want to leave the
league. He assumed control of Charlotte En Fuegos, and won the
championship two seasons later.
