- The CFFFL was founded in 1997. The Internet based league was
created primarily to help keep a group of friends from UCF's Recreational
Services department in touch as they finally graduated and went their
separate ways. The rest of the original team owners responded to one
of several ads placed on fantasy football message boards. Since then,
new team owners have either found the league on the web, or have been
referred by exiting team owners.
